The 60's Rock & Roll night at Jackie's Upper House Farm was a great evening with live music provided by local band Ronnie and The Reverbs. The band played a selection of classic R&R from the 50's and early 60's. A few intrepid dancers took to the improvised dance floor.
Despite a wet evening it was well attended we all had a good time and enjoyed a fish&chip supper. The event raised over £400 for local Rotary charities and Wellington church.

The Club had our regular stand at the Herefordshire Country Fair, this year at the King George V Playing Fields. The stand was set up by Peter and John and we were then joined by Dick B for the rest of the day with Chris and Christine giving us a break at lunch time.
The weather was fair despite the forecast but the turnout appeared to be lower than last year. This meant that our takings were about £100 down on last year but we still managed to raise £232 for Rotary Foundation

The 83rd Herefordshire Performing Arts Festival took place between 26th March and 1st April at The Courtyard and other venues around the city. The week ended with a Gala Concert at The Courtyard featuring the winners.
After their performances the winners were awarded their trophies by Rotarian John Barnes representing the club which again had supported the festival.
The award for Young Speech and Drama Performer of the Year was awarded to Vida Thorpe.
